From 6 NE states 321 receives appointment letters at Rozgar Mela

Dimapur: 321 people from six northeastern states received appointment letters for jobs in six ministries and the Assam Rifles during a Rozgar Mela held in Nagaland on Tuesday.

Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Pratima Bhowmik distributed appointment letters to the new recruits at the Aam Rozgar Mela held at Imliyanger Memorial Center (IMC) here.
Bhowmik said that since Prime Minister Narendra Modi prioritized women empowerment, 67 women were among the 321 newly inducted employees.
The Union Minister said that the Prime Minister had said last year that the government would provide jobs to the youth in a systematic manner.

“It is the Prime Minister’s promise to provide employment to the youth and make India an Atmanirbhar and Vishwaguru by 2047,” she said, urging the youth to work hard and achieve this feat. To contribute to the building of the country.

Among the new appointments, more than 50 people were from Nagaland.

General Employment Fair was organized for Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland and Tripura.
“The prime minister does not force the youth to move forward through government jobs but encourages them to stand on their own feet and build their own future through startups.

“Youths have started their own start-ups and have also provided jobs to people,” the minister said.
Pointing out that there has been tremendous progress in road infrastructure, rail connectivity and other developmental activities in the Northeast, the minister said, “The more development there is, the more employment opportunities the youth get.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday addressed newly inducted employees participating in the fair at 45 locations across the country through video conferencing.
