Doomdoma: The Divisional Forest Officer of East Assam Wildlife Division, Kaziranga National Park has issued a notification that the site will open for tourists on February 4, 2023.
The previous notification dated January 18, 2023 for closure of the park is cancelled.
However, due to administrative requirements, Jeep Safari under Central Range, Kaziranga and Western Range, Bagori will be closed for tourists on 1st February 2023.
Elephant Safari will be open for tourists as usual.
“It is for the general information of all concerned that the notification of closure of the park on 18.01.2023 has been canceled and the park will remain open for tourists on February 4, 2023,” the DFO said in a notification.
“Due to administrative requirements, jeep safaris in Central Range, Kaziranga and Western Range, Bagori will remain closed for tourists on February 1, 2023,” the notification said. However, it added that jeep safaris in Burapahar and Agoratoli range as well as elephant safaris will remain open for tourists as usual.
