
For sharing secret information with Pakistani, Assam man arrested
Guwahati: A man from Assam has been arrested for allegedly “sharing sensitive information” with a man from Pakistan.
A team of Odisha Police’s Crime Investigation Department (CID) arrested the man from Assam’s Nagaon district.
The arrested person has been identified as Iqbal Hussain.
Hussain was arrested by the Odisha Police with the help of the Assam Police from his house in Genduwa Pothar village of Batadrava area of Nagaon.
Notably, Hussain had recently returned home after working in Bengaluru.
Odisha CID had registered a case against Iqbal Hussain under the provisions of the IT Act.
Hussain allegedly “shared sensitive information” with a Pakistani man named Abdul Haleem.
