KOHIMA: JP Nadda BJP president will visit poll-bound Nagaland on Tuesday, party sources said.
Nadda will attend a joint rally of BJP and its ally NDPP. He said that Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio will also be present in the rally.
He is also scheduled to release the BJP’s manifesto for the assembly elections at the party’s state unit headquarters.
BJP and NDPP are contesting elections together. BJP is contesting on 20 seats, NDPP is contesting on 40 seats.
Polling for the 60-seat Nagaland Assembly will be held on February 27 and counting of votes will take place on March 2.
