Lorumbam Bikram, Deputy Commissioner of Manipur’s Bishnupur district, said in an order, “According to the report submitted by the Senior Superintendent of Police, Bishnopur district, 1 km radius of Loktak Lake, Ethnic Park, Moirangkhunou, Sendra , Indian National Army (INA) Headquarters and INA Complex, Moirang, and 1 km on both sides of the roads leading to the above mentioned places in Bishnupur District ‘No Flying Zone’ in respect of visits to G- 20 Summit Delegates to be held on February 18.
In another order, the DC said, “Many herds of cattle from the nearby villages and municipal areas of Bishnupur district are seen blocking National Highway-02 and other major roads leading to the public as well as the highway. vehicular traffic and others face problems of roads”.
“Due to their unwanted presence, there is a possibility of road accidents or other accidents and inconvenience to the general public, especially during the visit of the G-20 summit in Bishnupur district,” the order added.
It added, “All concerned especially the owners of such pets are hereby informed to keep them in proper sheds or proper pastures under the supervision of cattle herdsmen to prevent any untoward incident/disturbance.” Feed on pastures.Any person/owner violating the information shall be punished under Section 8B of the National Highways Act, 1956 read with Chapter III of the Cattle Trespass Act, 1871.
