FIR filed against PM Narendra Modi by Assam Congress leader

Guwahati: Recently, an FIR has been registered against Prime Minister Narendra Modi citing the hardship faced by common citizens of Assam due to tight security during his visit to Guwahati.
The FIR filed by Assam Congress leader Ramen Kumar Sarma at the Bhangagarh police station in Guwahati details the “harrowing experiences” of people amid roadblocks and traffic restrictions during the Prime Minister’s visit to the city.
The FIR outlines the challenges faced by the common man as the city was under tight security ahead of the Prime Minister’s visit.
On April 16, daily life in Guwahati faced unprecedented disruption as roads were blocked and barricades erected to ensure the safety of the Prime minister.
Commuters found themselves stuck in massive traffic jams, turning a routine journey between roadblocks into a grueling effort.
According to the FIR, the consequences of these traffic restrictions became alarmingly clear when an ambulance carrying a critically ill patient got stuck in the congested streets.
