Assam: Amid festive celebrations in Assam, where the state government is leaving no stone unturned to take Bihu to the ‘global centre-stage’, the leader of a pro-Khalistan group has issued a stern warning to the people of Assam.
A man identifying himself as General Counsel of the separatist outfit Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) Gruptwan Singh Pannu sent a recorded message to several journalists in Assam in which he alleged that on the day of Rongali Bihu celebrations in Guwahati. Violence can happen.

Earlier, a leader of a pro-Khalistan group had announced a $100,000 reward for anyone who threw a shoe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to Assam on April 14.

Further, he alleged that PM Modi is involved in the killing of people of Assam and pro-Khalistan Sikhs in Punjab.
Modi will be in Guwahati on April 14 for Bihu celebrations. There is a $100,000 reward for throwing shoes at Narendra Modi’s face. Prime Minister Modi will be in Assam to participate in the Assam government’s initiative to create a Guinness Book of World Record for gathering 10,000 dancers at one place in Assam and to lay the foundation stone for several development projects worth Rs 8,000 crore.
