A report on the unsung heroes of Arunachal Pradesh who fought against the British is likely to be released on the occasion of the state’s foundation day.
The report was accepted by the state cabinet headed by Chief Minister Pema Khandu on February 13.
“After months of research and hard work by the Department of History, Rajiv Gandhi University, as part of the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, a report on the unsung heroes of Arunachal Pradesh was prepared.
A great work has been done by the Department of History, Rajiv Gandhi University. I am confident that this study will revive the golden history of our state and help us reconnect with the forgotten heroes who fought bravely against British oppression to protect the motherland and bring us precious freedom,” Khandu said on Twitter.
