Don't do politics on frontier naga issue, NPF cautioned Congress

Kohima: MLA Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu and Naga People’s Front (NPF) Legislature Party leader Responding to K. Therie’s comments calling for the Governor’s intervention in the Eastern Nagaland People’s Organization (ENPO) issue, he stressed the need to refrain from political blame-shifting.
NPF MLA Nienu stressed the importance of unity among all sections of society, irrespective of tribal affiliations or political affiliations, to collectively solve the problems of Nagaland.
He cautioned against assigning responsibility solely to current elected representatives and urged past and present lawmakers from all political backgrounds to acknowledge their role in any current challenges.
Nienu criticized Therie for lacking political maturity in handling the situation, suggesting that instead of resorting to accusations and interference with the governor, efforts should be directed towards constructive dialogue and problem-solving.
He highlighted the joint efforts of various political parties to form an opposition-less government for the greater benefit of the Naga people.
Asserting his commitment to a timely and comprehensive solution to the long-standing Naga political issue.
In light of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Nienu appealed to the ENPO and its leadership to refrain from participating and instead advocate for the election of a representative who would effectively address both the concerns of the Naga people and the demands of the ENPO.
