Dire results if found playing with indigenous future, Pradyot threaten

Tripura: Regarding the cover-up by the ruling BJP, Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma, chairman of Tipra Motha, said on June 20 that he would take a strong stand against those playing with the future, rights and sentiments of the local people in Tripura.
During a media interaction, Pradyot claimed that some people are trying to use their financial power to undermine the alliance and divert attention from the rights of indigenous people.
“I planned to meet the secretary of the village council to apprise him of the current situation in villages across the state. Money cannot buy loyalty. However, a group of people tried to weaken our resolve and Trying to use his financial influence to distract us from rights.
I want to tell them that they have seen peace and tranquility in the state, but if they play with our feelings, future and rights, the people of Tipra, Tiprasa and I, in every village and every road, stand against them. Will and will face them. Pradyot added that this struggle is not a political fight but for our rights, lands and language.
He also alleged that a section of the people send their children to English-medium schools but oppose the use of the Roman script by locals to write in the Kok Boruk language.
“I challenge BJP ministers and MLAs, whose children study in English medium schools, that they do not want our children to have the same opportunity or use the Roman script,” he said. Written in Kokbork.
Pradyot also accused the ruling party of suppressing tribal communities and trying to split their unity by not holding village council elections.
The BJP state president said in the presence of IPFT leaders that Tipraland is not possible. Will he ever dare to say that in front of NC Debbarma? Never. He made such statements because he understood our weakness.
He made many promises but is not fulfilling them, citing the failure of regional parties to deliver anything. Only then if we get Tippraland, Jishu Kaka (former Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma) will be the Chief Minister, and Bidyut Debbarma will be the Minister, and the tribal community will get something.
At present, tribals are treated as second-class citizens in the state. I am fighting for everyone. I will fight alone for my community. I am not afraid of anyone. So far, you have seen my good side, but you guys have betrayed us, and we will answer that soon,” said Pradyot.
