Dhemaji youth found dead in Guwahati rehabilitation center

Guwahati: A 25-year-old youth was found dead at a rehabilitation center in Guwahati’s Maligaon area on Tuesday morning.

The youth was later identified as Mitra Taud, who hails from Assam’s Dhemaji district.
The incident was reported by ‘Saanvi Wellness Foundation’, an addiction counseling and rehabilitation centre.

The young man had been staying at the rehabilitation center for the past five months.
His body was found in the common room of the rehabilitation center.
The police are yet to know the exact cause of death and are investigating the matter.
