It should be noted that the US-based separatist Sikh organization Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) had threatened Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
The threat to Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma was issued by a pro-Khalistan group over the detention of six associates of Sikh separatist leader Amritpal Singh in Dibrugarh jail.
US-based separatist Sikh organization – Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) sent an audio message to several media houses in Assam, threatening Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
The audio message was sent by Gurpatwan Singh Pannu of the US-based separatist Sikh organization Sikhs for Justice (SFJ).
In the audio message, the pro-Khalistan group alleged that six associates of Amritpal Singh were being subjected to ‘torture’ in Assam’s Dibrugarh jail.

“We want freedom of Punjab from India… If you (Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma) government tortures and harasses six (Amirtpal Singh associates), you will be held accountable,” the message said. ”
It should be noted that on March 18, the Punjab Police launched a large-scale crackdown against Amrit Pal Singh and his organization “Wars de Punjab”.
Amritpal Singh has been absconding ever since.
The crackdown came after Amritpal’s supporters stormed the Ajnala police station in Amritsar on February 23 and demanded the release of one of his close aides, Lovepreet Toofan.
