Dead body of BSF personnel found under unexplainable conditions

Agartala: The body of a BSF officer was found under unexplainable circumstances in Agartala on Friday November 17 morning.

The dead body of the BSF personnel was found near Lankamura Iron Bridge in Agartala, Tripura.
The slain BSF personnel has been identified as Ishan Chandra Dora.

He belonged to the 42nd Battalion of the BSF posted at Lankamura Border Outpost (BOP) in Tripura.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the BSF personnel fell from a bridge leading to his death.
“We have recovered his rifle. There are no bullet injury marks on his body.
He succumbed to injuries suspected to have been caused by a fall,” said a Tripura police official.
However, the Tripura police have started an investigation into the death of the BSF personnel.
