Congress chief Kharge met party leaders of Arunachal, Assam
New Delhi: Congress president Mallikarjan Kharge on Wednesday met party leaders from Arunachal Pradesh and Assam and discussed the political situation in the states with them.
He wished the Assam Mahila Congress all the best for their ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ in the state.
A fruitful discussion was held today with a delegation of Assam Pradesh Mahila Congress led by PCC President Bhupen Kumar Borah. Expressed my best wishes for the Assam leg of the Bharat Jodo Yatra and discussed ways to strengthen the party in the state,” Kharge tweeted along with pictures of the meeting.
In another tweet, he shared pictures with leaders of the Arunachal Pradesh unit of the party.
“Arunachal Pradesh leaders led by AICC in-charge Manish Chatrath, PCC president Nabam Tuki, and others met me today. We discussed the political situation in the state. Congress party people of Arunachal Pradesh. is determined to raise its voice strongly,” said the Congress chief.
Assembly elections in Arunachal Pradesh are scheduled to be held in early 2024.
