Commercial LPG cylinder prices hiked by Rs. 209

New Delhi: The price of a commercial Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinder has been increased by Rs 209.

Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) on Sunday (October 01) hiked the prices of commercial LPG cylinders.
Notably, this hike in commercial LPG cylinder prices comes after two consecutive declines of Rs 250 (approx) in August and September this year.

On September 1, the government had reduced the price of a commercial gas cylinder by around Rs 158.
Earlier, on August 1, the price of a 19 kg commercial cylinder was reduced by Rs 99.75.
From October 1, the price of a 19 kg cylinder in Delhi will now be Rs 1731.50 instead of Rs 1522.50.

On the other hand, the commercial cylinder prices in Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai will now be Rs 1684, Rs 1839.50 and Rs 1898 respectively.
Notably, the prices of commercial and domestic LPG cylinders are revised monthly on the first day of every month.

Meanwhile, the prices of 14.2 kg domestic cooking gas cylinders remain unchanged.

Domestic LPG cylinder prices were last revised in August when they were reduced by Rs 200.
