Aizawl: In a strong show of confidence, Advisor to the Chief Minister and MLA candidate for Aizawl West III Er K Lalsawmvela has announced that the Mizo National Front (MNF) will retain power in the upcoming elections.
The MLA candidate from Aizawl West III said that people from different corners of the world are rallying behind the Mizo National Front (MNF). Addressing a campaign and induction program held at the Livelihood Hall in Lawipu, he expressed deep confidence in the return of MNF to power. He said that citizens of Bangladesh, Manipur, and Myanmar have found refuge in our state, and now people from different corners of the world are expressing fear that the MNF may not regain power.
Highlighting the achievements of the MNF, he praised the party’s effective resolution of issues with the BRU community, which has led to their voluntary return to Tripura.
He recalled the challenges faced by the state due to border issues in 2018, stressing that the MNF’s rise to power saw the Mizoram Police take decisive action by driving out the Assam Police.
Er K Lalsawmvela highlighted the growing appeal of Mizo nationalism among the people and noted that even those who had initially predicted a victory for the Zoram People’s Movement (ZPM) have since changed their views. , now he firmly believes in MNF’s return to power.
Emphasizing the dominance of the MNF, he confidently said that the ZPM has no chance in the 16 assembly constituencies around Aizawl.
