Center negligence; hatred group grabbed Univ. land during G20

Guwahati: In a stunning occurrence, an anger mafia bunch of Assam on Sunday night supposedly attempted to get a plot having a place within the University in Guwahati’s Azara during the G20 meet up.

A gathering of anger mafia pelted stones on CCTV cameras and obliterated college property trying to hold onto the place that is known for Grijanand Chowdhury College.
The occurrence occurred under the nose of the Azara police when G20 delegates from different nations are in Guwahati.

“The hatred  land mafia has humiliated Guwahati by attempting to snatch the grounds of a university in Guwahati,” said a university official.
The three-day Y20 send off gathering is in progress at a city hotel and IIT Guwahati with the support of 250 representatives.

Albeit a FIR has been enrolled with the Azara police by the Recorder of Girijanand Chowdhary University (GCU), no move has been made against the reprobates engaged with the endeavored land get.
On 06-02-2023 at 5.30 PM around 40 to 50 scoundrels were seen on our CCTV cameras doing unlawful and against social exercises like pelting stones, breaking and annihilating college property on the ground. Under Deg No: 47, Patta No: 541, Town Azara, Mauza-Ramsarani, Area Kamrup, determined to infringe on the land having a place with our College,” the FIR read.
In the FIR, we have mentioned the police to make a prompt move against the mafia. Notwithstanding, the police are yet to make any captures regarding the occurrence,” said the GCU enlistment center.

He claimed that a group of Azara police got the five denounced in the episode yet shockingly the police officers later delivered them.
When reached, Azara police headquarters official in-control Tapan Kalita said, “We have enlisted a case regarding the episode and are examining it. No captures have been made at this point.”
