BSF woman soldier from Assam commit suicide in West Bengal

A woman soldier of the Border Security Force (BSF) in Assam allegedly committed suicide in her quarters in Cooch Behar, West Bengal.

The deceased youth has been identified as Dhritashree Rabha, who hails from Dakuapara village in Boko.

According to reports, Rabha, who was posted in Cooch Behar for the past six months, was found hanging in her quarters on the afternoon of March 20.
Meanwhile, the family has expressed shock over the incident and refuses to believe that Rabha could have taken such a step.
“She had called last night and told us that she will come to us for Bihu on April 1. Rabha’s mother said that she was a happy girl and I never thought in my life that she Will take such an extreme step.

The victim’s mother added, “She was going to take a month off and celebrate Bihu with us.
Meanwhile, officials said her body will be brought to his home tomorrow for further processing.

On March 12, a senior police constable was found hanging in a battalion camp in Assam’s Cachar district.

According to sources, the constable was found hanging in a room of the 6th Assam Police Battalion camp in Kathal area of ​​Cachar.
The deceased has been identified as Biplab Chakraborty, a resident of Cachar district.

Chakraborty’s colleagues informed the higher authorities, who informed the police after finding the body hanging inside the room.
The police reached the camp and recovered the dead body of the youth.

The body was then taken to Silchar Medical College and Hospital (SMCH) for post-mortem.
Meanwhile, the reason behind Chakraborty’s extreme step is yet to be known.
