BJP demands action on Poster featuring CM defaced

Agartala: The ruling BJP party in Tripura on Wednesday reached the Kailasahar police station and demanded legal action against the culprits involved in defaming Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha in posters featuring him and Minister Tinku Roy.

The Information and Cultural Affairs Department (ICA Department) of Kailasahar sub-division had put up posters and hoardings in various parts of the city with Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha and Minister Tinku Roy greeting people on the occasion of Bengali New Year.
Following this, a delegation of Kailasahar BJP madam committee led by mandal president Siddhartha Dutta reached the Kailasahar police station on Wednesday and demanded legal action against the culprits involved in the incident.

However, he hoped that the police would act accordingly and arrest the culprits who defamed the Chief Minister with black ink.
