Agartala: Tipra Motha chairman Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma criticized the BJP saying that it has not done anything for the local people of the state in the last five years.
In the 2023 assembly elections, the party has won 13 Scheduled Caste reserved seats.
Discussions were held between the central government and Tipra Motha regarding the appointment of a negotiator for the ‘constitutional demand’ of the indigenous people of Tripura.
Meanwhile, on Monday, Pradyot took to Twitter to criticize the BJP for failing to work for the local people in the last five years.
He also criticized the then Left Front Chief Minister Manik Sarkar for allegedly running Tripura.
“Suprabhat (good morning) to all haters, trolls, doubters. I started Tipra for my people and not to fight your fight! Communists in Tripura ruined us under Manik Sarkar, “State” Congress threw me out for MR GOA and BJP did nothing for local people between 2018-23! I will not stop negotiating for constitutional rights of my people till my last breath Will come. Don’t use your personal agenda, we have issues and I will always stand for our rights”, read Pradyot’s post.
