Bhuban Gam Majuli MLA injured in road accident

JORHAT: BJP MLA from Assam’s Majuli constituency – Bhuban Gam – met with a road accident in Sonitpur district on Tuesday.

The BJP MLA from Assam from Majuli was injured in the accident.
The road accident took place in Balipara tehsil of Sonitpur district of Assam on Tuesday morning.

The car (Toyota Innova), in which the Majuli MLA was traveling, skidded off the road and fell into the swamp after colliding with another vehicle (Mahindra Bolero).
Although the accident looked fatal, given the wreckage of the Innova car, the Majuli MLA escaped with minor injuries – thanks to the car’s airbags.

Besides Majuli MLA Bhuban Gam, his wife and son were also present in the car when the accident took place.

However, both Gam’s wife and son escaped unhurt.
The accident took place when the Assam BJP MLA and his family were on their way to Guwahati.
