
At World Youth Festival 2024 in Russia,GCU student to exhibit India
Guwahati: Girijananda Chaudhary University (GCU) is very proud to announce that Jyotishma Medhi, 8th semester student of Civil Engineering Department, has been selected as one of the 360 representatives from India to participate in the World Youth Fest (WYF) in Sochi, Russia.
The event is scheduled to take place from March 1 to March 7, 2024.
Jyotishma earned her place at WYF through a rigorous selection process.
In the first round, he presented an essay on “Life, Dignity and Justice” and the second round included a video conferencing session that showcased her thought-provoking insights and intellectual prowess.
The World Youth Fest is a prestigious gathering that will host 20,000 Russian and international leaders, including teenagers representing children’s organizations and associations from around the world.
Jyotishma actively participates in activities spanning diverse fields such as business, media, international cooperation, culture, science, education, volunteering and charity, sports, and public life.
This remarkable achievement not only recognizes Jyotishma’s academic excellence but also her commitment to addressing critical issues that impact the global youth community.
Girijananda Chowdhury University congratulates her on this outstanding accomplishment and wishes her success in representing India on the International stage.
