At Rozgar Mela in Dimapur Bhoumik distributes 48 job letters

Dimapur: Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Pratima Bhoumik distributed appointment letters to 48 new recruits of North East region in various departments of Central Government including Banks, Railways and Postal Department at a job fair held at IMC Hall here on July 13.
Although offer letters were to be handed over to 58 new recruits from the region in the job fair that day, 10 recruits could not attend the programme.

A blind candidate was the first appointee to receive his appointment letter from Bhoumik at a job fair here today. He was recruited by State Bank of India.
The Rozgar Mela, held at 43 locations across India to distribute appointment letters in various central government departments as state governments and UTs are supporting the initiative, was held for the second time in Dimapur. The first job fair was held at the same venue on May 16.
Speaking as the chief guest on the occasion, Bhoumik said that the job fair is a golden opportunity for the new recruits to contribute towards nation building and taking the country forward.
“Your appointments in various government departments carry huge responsibilities,” she told the new recruits.

Emphasizing that connectivity is very important for the overall development of a region, she said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid special emphasis on infrastructure development of the Northeast such as rail, road and air connectivity.

Bhoumik also highlighted various programs launched by the Prime Minister like Start-up India, Stand-up India and Mudra Loan Scheme to generate employment in the country.
