GUWAHATI: Many workers like Asha and Anganwadi laborers and agriculturists from various pieces of Assam accumulated in Guwahati on Saturday and requested mazuri (compensation) not manoni (honor) from the government and businesses.
He additionally censured the Narendra Modi-led rule at the Center and claimed that his administration had removed the freedoms of the average workers.
He was taking part in an open gathering on the principal day of the 10th Conference of the Construction Workers Federation of India (CWFI) at the Sonaram School playground here.
Tending to the social affair, veteran CPI(M) leader Heman Das asserted that starting around 2014, the Modi government has gone to more enemy of work lengths than some other government in the country.
“That is the reason everybody, from Asha and Anganwadi laborers to lunch prepares, has now emerged to request their levy. They maintain that their positions should be regularized so they can get the related advantages.
“They are requesting their Mazuri and not Manoni(Honor),” declared the previous MLA.
CPI(M) lawmaker Manoranjan Talukdar expressed individuals from all pieces of the state took part in the program.
Modi government is removing individuals’ privileges. Any place they can, average citizens are presently assembling and challenging the public authority’s enemy of work strategies,” Talukdar added.
Worker’s organization and Left party pioneers from different states went to the gathering, a coordinator said.
