Assam: Zubin asked people to watch Assamese films instead of dubbed South Indian films

Guwahati: Singer Zubeen Garg said at a function on Wednesday night that people in Assam should watch and promote Assamese films instead of watching “nonsense” dubbed South Indian films.

Criticizing some South Indian films like KGF and RRR, Zubeen Garg said that these films have no meaning.

He asked the crowd if it was possible for someone to throw a motorcycle barefoot or for someone to just kick the truck and fly away.

“No, it’s not possible and it’s just meaningless,” he added.

He further said that people in Assam are not cows but lions to watch these films.
