Assam: Unidentified body found near railway trains in Haflong

Guwahati: An unidentified body has been found near the railway track between New Haflong and Migrengdisa.

According to reports, the Government Railway Police has recovered the body, which has been identified as that of a person.

The body has been sent for post-mortem but the identification is yet to be done.

Police are now trying to ascertain the cause of death.

Some reports say that the man may have fallen off the train and died.

Police are investigating all aspects of the death, including murder and suicide.
