Assam reports 13 new COVID-19 cases, zero death
The highest number of 10 new cases was reported in Kamrup metropolitan district followed by one each in Jorhat, Morigaon and Nalbari.
Guwahati: According to a bulletin issued by the National Health Mission (NHM), 13 new COVID-19 cases and zero deaths were reported in Assam on Monday.
He said the death toll in the state had risen to 7,24,123 while the death toll had risen to 6,638.
The highest number of 10 new cases was reported in Kamrup metropolitan district followed by one each in Jorhat, Morigaon and Nalbari.
The bulletin said that there are currently 176 active COVID-19 cases in Assam, while 7,15,962 people have recovered from the disease, including 59 on Monday.
The positivity rate fell to 0.39 percent from 0.62 percent on Sunday.
The recovery rate from COVID-19 is now 98.87%.
The total number of vaccinated persons in the state so far has increased to 4,32,68,711 in which 2,33,86,128 are being given first dose, 1,96,24,494 second dose and 2,58,089 precautionary dose.
