Assam: One killed after BTR Chief’s escort vehicle crashes

Guwahati: A convoy of BTR chief Pramod Boro’s was involved in an accident last night in which one policeman was killed and three others were injured.

According to sources, the convoy was being diverted from Tamulpur and the accident took place in the 11th mile of Rangia.
Although nothing happened to Pramod Boro or his vehicle, an escort vehicle lost control and fell into a ditch.

An officer in the car, identified as Raju Kalita, died in the crash.

Three others, identified as Brojen Rajbongshi, Utpal Patgiri and Prakash Boro, were critically injured.

He has been shifted to a medical center for treatment but his condition remains critical.

No civilians were injured in the crash.
