Assam: NSCKA Freedom Fighters injured in shootout with police

Guwahati: Assam: NSCKA Freedom Fighters injured in shootout with police, six arrested. A member of a new militant outfit was injured in a shootout with the Assam Police in Karbi Anglong on Wednesday.

According to SDGP GP Singh, the militant outfit has been named National Socialist Council of Karbi Anglong ( NSCKA Freedom fighters ).

The organization was formed after seven boys from Karbi Anglong got together, bought three pistols and decided to form a Fighters organization.
The police had spotted the outfit inside Karbi Hills based on specific information.

The police tracked them down in the forested area of ​​the hills and arrested six of them on the spot.
The mastermind of the organization has been identified as Pabitra Teron who was injured after trying to escape from the police team.
After nabbing all of them, the police said that the group has been neutralized as all the members involved have been arrested.

So far, three pistols and 21 live ammunition have been recovered from the crime scene.

Further investigation is underway.
