Assam: Minister Sanjoy Kishan seeks apology from ULFA-I


Guwahati: After being taken steps to be prohibited in two Upper Assam regions, Minister Sanjoy Kishan on Sunday apologized to the United Liberation Front of Asom-Independent (ULFA-I) and its boss Paresh Baruah.

The restricted aggressor outfit ULFA-I requested an expression of remorse from Welfare of Tea Tribes Minister of Labor and Employment Sanjoy Kishan for remarks he made on the outfit its boss, Paresh Baruah.

Sanjoy Kishan responding to the new killings in the ULFA-I camps had named Paresh Baruah as a ‘liar’. The reference to this was the demise of a unit named Biju Gogoi who the outfit had said to have passed on by self destruction.

Kishan blamed the ULFA-I and its head of lying in regards to Gogoi’s demise.
