GUWAHATI: As the Congress is poised to win power in Karnataka, ousting the BJP from its only southern constituency on Saturday, the Assam Jatiya Parishad said it would be Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s There is a “moral defeat” for those who led the saffron. Assam Jatiya Parishad president Lurinjyoti Gogoi congratulated the Congress on its performance in Karnataka and said “the people of the southern state voted against rising inflation and unemployment”.
