Assam has made extensive arrangements for the Prime Minister’s visit on Thursday.
Guwahati: The Assam government has made extensive arrangements for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s one-day visit to the state on Thursday, with Chief Minister Himanta Biswa overseeing winter preparations, officials said.
The Prime Minister will arrive at Dimapur Airport in Nagaland at 11 a.m. and from there will take a helicopter to Diphu in Karbi Angling District of Assam. He will address the ‘Unity, Peace and Development Rally’ in Loringthepi and will lay the foundation stone of several educational and development projects worth over Rs 500 crore.
He said that Modi would then leave for Dibrugarh where he would dedicate the Dibrugarh Cancer Center at Assam Medical College Hospital to the nation.
In the early evening, he will initiate for all intents and purposes seven malignant growth medical clinics and establish the groundwork stone of seven additional medical clinics in Assam from Khanikar Park in Dibrugarh , where Tata Trust Chairman Ratan Tata, Union Ministers Sarbananda Sonowal and Rameshwar Teli, Governor There will likewise be Jagdish honey bees and winter.
The seven clinics to be initiated incorporate Dibrugarh , Barpeta, Tezpur, Jorhat, Lakhimpur, Kokrajhar and Darrang. The clinical foundations to be laid are Dhubri, Goalpara, Golaghat, Sivasagar, Nalbari, Nagaon and Tinsukia.
