New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday lauded the gesture of Assam Governor Gulab Chand Kataria, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and state government ministers to visit the National War Memorial, National Police Memorial and PM Singhrahalaya here.
In a tweet, Kataria said, “I was deeply honored to visit the National War Memorial in New Delhi today, along with Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma and his cabinet colleagues.” He said that we paid tribute to the brave soldiers who made great sacrifices in protecting the territorial integrity of our country.
As the day progressed, we embarked on an amazing journey through the magnificent National Police Museum and the prestigious Pradhan Mantri Sangrahalaya, marveling at the extraordinary exhibits on display, Kataria said.
Tagging Kataria’s tweet, Modi said on Twitter, “Assam Governor @gulab_katariaji, CM @himantabiswaji and Assam Govt Ministers at three famous places in Delhi – National War Memorial, National Police Memorial and PM Singhrahaliya. A great tip to visit.”
