Guwahati: Governor of Assam Jagdish Mukhi on Monday released a calendar titled ‘You and Me’ for the year 2023, featuring pictures of birds found in different parts of the state.
The concept, images and design of the calendar are by photographer and ex-bureaucrat Sanjib Gohain Boruah.
According to a press release issued by the Raj Bhavan, the calendar is a collection of photographs of 12 pairs of birds found in different parts of the state.
The release added that some rare birds found in the Raj Bhavan premises were also included in the calendar.
Boruah, a prominent photographer of the state, was a former commissioner and secretary to the governor.
This is his second calendar with the first being ‘Brahmaputra- The Poetic Muse’, which depicts the different moods of the mighty river in each month of the year, which was published last year.
