Assam Chief Minister orders release of job seekers arrested outside police headquarters
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has ordered the release of 36 job seekers who were arrested last week for protesting outside the Assam police headquarters in Guwahati.
According to a statement from the Assam Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), Himanta Biswa Sarma has asked the state police department to look into the matter sympathetically and take steps for his early release.
