Assam: Businessman injured in masked firing in Kokrajhar

Kokrajhar: A money manager was truly harmed when unidentified aggressors took shots at him in the Narabari region under the Serfanguri police headquarters in western Assam’s Kokrajhar locale.
As per police, the money manager distinguished as Sunil Mondol was sitting at the verandah of his home when two equipped people on a bicycle wearing caps came and started shooting at him around 8 30 pm.
He supported shot wounds close to the chest. He was first taken to Serfanguri medical clinic and later moved to Lower Assam Hospital in Bongaigaon.
As indicated by the relatives of the harmed individual, the finance manager got a coercion interest of Rs 2 lakhs from the aggressors bunch Kamatapur Liberation Organization (KLO) a couple of days back.
Two people were caught regarding the episode.
The captured people were distinguished as Uttam Roy, 24, and Mridul Roy, 26. Both are accounted for to be KLO frameworks.
Kokrajhar Superintendent of Police (SP) Prateek Thube said the police have begun the examination to seize the guilty parties associated with the occurrence.
BTC CEO part (CEM) Pramod Boro denounced the terminating episodes at Serfanguri in Kokrajhar and Anguri in Chirang the previous evening.
He said those associated with such sorts of enemy of social exercises will be managed immovably.
