Asia’s largest fountain is set to be built at Ajanta Palace in Agartala

Agartala: Asia’s largest fountain will open at Ujjayanta Palace in Agartala, Tripura.

Installation of Asia’s largest fountain at Ujjayanta Palace in Agartala in Tripura will be completed by January 2023.

The fountain, which will be the largest in Asia, will be constructed under the Agartala Smart City Limited (ASCL) project.

The fountain to be installed at Ujjayanta Palace in Agartala in Tripura will be 120 meters high.
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved financial support for the project.

In this project, we will install a fountain that will be the largest fountain in Asia. It will have a height of 120 meters and the work is expected to be completed by January 2023,” ASCL CEO Dr Shailesh Kumar Yadav said.
“The state government will spend Rs 78 crore out of the Rs 294 crore provided by the federal government. The Agartala Smart City Limited project has a total budget of Rs 372 crore, of which Rs 342 crore has been spent on construction so far.
