Arunachal to get heavy rains, isolated rain may occurs in NE states

Guwahati: Southwesterly winds from the Bay of Bengal are likely to meet the eastern Himalayas, bringing heavy rains to the mountainous region of northeast India.

According to the Weather Channel, heavy rain with thundershowers is likely on Tuesday and Wednesday, especially in Arunachal Pradesh.
Further, a Western Disturbance (WD) with associated cyclonic circulation may affect the Western Himalayan region and adjoining areas.

Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland and sub-Himalayan region under the influence of this system are likely to receive isolated rain on Tuesday and Wednesday.
While Assam and Meghalaya are likely to receive scattered rain with the possibility of thundershowers on Tuesday and Wednesday, Nagaland, Manipur and sub-Himalayan West Bengal may experience isolated rain on Tuesday.

Scattered rain/snowfall is likely over Sikkim on Wednesday. On the other hand, isolated rain may occur over Nagaland, Manipur and sub-Himalayan West Bengal on Wednesday.
