Arunachal Pradesh: Search underway for two ‘missing’ Army men along India-China border
ITANAGAR: A serious hunt activity is in progress in Arunachal Pradesh along the India-China boundary to find the two Army men who have been accounted for to be ‘missing’.
The two Indian Army men have been accounted for to be ‘absent’ for north of 15 days.
Both the fighters were posted in Arunachal Pradesh along the India-China line.
“Serious hunt activities have been continuous for the two Indian Army staff, sent in the forward areas of Anjaw locale in Arunachal Pradesh since May 28,” Tezpur-based protection representative Lt Colonel AS Walia informed on Sunday.
The two ‘missing’ armed force men are: Naik Prakash Singh and Lance Naik Harender Singh.
Both the warriors were conveyed in a forward post along the India-China line in Arunachal Pradesh.
Both the officers are ventured to have unintentionally fallen into a quick streaming waterway in closeness to their post, he said.
The pursuit activities are going on throughout the previous fourteen days.
“A court of request to explore into the occurrence has been gathered by the Army,” the protection representative added.
Both the ‘missing’ officers hail from Uttarakhand.
Relatives of both the ‘missing’ armed force men have been educated regarding the episode and are overall consistently refreshed.
