Itanagar: The Arunachal Pradesh government has announced House Rent Allowance (HRA) for its employees who are not provided accommodation.
State government employees will be entitled to monthly House Rent Allowance at the rate of 27, 18 and 9 per cent of their basic pay depending on their place of posting, an office memorandum said.
“HRA of employees will be revised as 30, 20 and 10 per cent respectively when DA exceeds 50 per cent,” it said.
Sharing the information on Twitter, Chief Minister Pema Khandu said that all employees who have not been provided government accommodation are eligible for HRA every month.
“Through House Rent Allowance we are ensuring that our co-workers have accommodation facilities and stay at their place of posting for better service delivery to our people,” he tweeted.
