Itanagar: A sad incident has come to light from the border state of Arunachal Pradesh.

The Indian Army helicopter that crashed was a Rudra Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH).
An Indian Army helicopter crashed near Mugung village in Upper Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh.
An Indian Army helicopter crashed in Arunachal Pradesh at 10:43 am on Friday.
The accident site is about 25 km from the Tooting headquarters of the Indian Army in Arunachal Pradesh.
According to reports, five personnel including two pilots were on board when the helicopter crashed.
The accident site is near the Indo-China border in Arunachal Pradesh.
Search and rescue operations have been started.
A defense statement said the ill-fated Indian Army helicopter took off from Lekkabali on Friday morning and crashed at Mugung (south of Tooting) in Arunachal Pradesh.
Meanwhile, joint teams of the Army and the Air Force have launched a search and rescue operation.
Two rescue helicopters have been tasked with scanning the crash site and searching for survivors.
On the other hand, other search and rescue teams comprising Arunachal Pradesh Police, Upper Siang district officials and local people are also reaching the accident site.
“Received the very disturbing news about the crash of an Indian Army Advanced Light Helicopter in Arunachal Pradesh’s Upper Sayang district. My heartfelt prayers,” said Union Minister Kiran Rijiju.
Earlier on October 5, an Indian Army Cheetah helicopter crashed in Arunachal Pradesh’s Tawang district.
The accident took place near the BT waterfall in Arunachal Pradesh’s Tawang district.
One of the pilots, Lt. Col. Saurabh Yadav, who was critically injured, succumbed to his injuries.
The site of the accident has been identified as Singhing.
