The Arunachal Pradesh Youth Congress (APYC) on Saturday termed the central government’s Agni Path scheme as a “betrayal of the unemployed youth and the people of the country”.
“The BJP is endangering the security of the entire nation and misleading the youth by placing them in the Indian Armed Forces on a four-year contract without any rank or pension. It cannot be done and they intend to infiltrate the armed forces and take over the whole system, “said Tarh Johny , youth president of APYC. He said that the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi had once again shattered the dreams of millions of youth by introducing Agni Path scheme which was considered as a flawed strategy by many retired army personnel.
The APYC president added that although the government has promised that Agnewers would be given another chance to choose another job after four years, the facts and figures tell a different story.
