Arunachal Chief Minister Pema Khandu called on Rajnath Singh.

Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pima Khandu on Monday met Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh in the national capital and discussed various issues related to development along the border areas of the northeastern state.
Sharing the details of his meeting with Singh on Twitter, the Chief Minister said, “Today I met His Excellency the Minister of Rickshaws, Mr. Rajnath Singh Ji and discussed various aspects of development in the border areas of the state.
During the day, Khandu also attended a meeting of the executive committee of the National Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports (NIMAS).
During the meeting chaired by the Minister of Defense, various points of the agenda for strengthening the activities of NIMAS were discussed and approved.
Located in Dirang , West Kameng District, Arunachal Pradesh, NIMAS is an independent body under the Ministry of Defense, which provides specialized training in mountain rescue, mountaineering and adventure sports.
Spread over an area of 52 acres, it is the first national institute in India to be commissioned to conduct adventure courses in land, air and water.
