Itanagar: A flock of over a hundred Amur falcons arrived in the eastern district as part of their annual migration, to the delight of locals and forest officials in Arunachal Pradesh’s Tarap district, a senior forest official said. Is.

Amur falcon (Falco amurensis) is a small raptor of the falcon family. It breeds in southeastern Siberia and northern China before migrating in large flocks over India and the Arabian Sea to winter in southern and eastern Africa.

“Apart from Nyusa, we have also recorded the presence of birds at nearby places like Mantong, Pingchau and Waka in the district,” Chief Conservator of Forests of Southern Arunachal Circle Chemoy Samai said.Simai has been traveling to all her residences since October 18.
