Army camp in Dirak, attacked by revolutionary ULFA-I with grenade

Dibrugarh: Two suspected ULFA-I revolutionaries hurled a grenade at an army camp in Dirak of Tinsukia district of Upper Assam on Wednesday evening.

The grenade exploded in front of 19 Grenadiers Gate at Dirak Gate at 7:40 am.
No casualty has been reported as of this report.
Security forces have cordoned off the area and started a massive search.

Sources said that the ULFA-I freedom fighters carried out the grenade attack to show their presence ahead of their upcoming protest day.
Sources also said that the alleged freedom fighter who led the attack has been identified as Sourav Axom.
