MUMBAI: After last year’s incident in Nagaland in which 13 civilians were killed, an extra-vigilant attitude by security forces may have left AR jawan injured a gunfight with freedom fighters there on Monday, a senior official said. The official said.

On December 4, 2021, thirteen civilians were killed in an ambush for militants in the Oting-Tiru area of ​​Nagaland’s Mon district as a result of mistaken identity.

The Nagaland Police has charge-sheeted at least 30 members of 21 para-special forces, including an officer of the rank of Major, in the incident.
