An Indian security guard allegedly committed suicide at the Indian embassy in Nepal
Kathmandu: Indian security guard committed suicide. An Indian national working as a security guard at the Indian Embassy in Nepal shot himself dead on Monday.
He reportedly killed himself in the early hours of the morning in the embassy compound.
The 32-year-old Indian national has been identified as Deepak Singh.
However, it is not known why this person took this step. According to the police, he was on duty when he committed suicide on the spot.
His body has been taken to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital Maharajgunj for post-mortem.
According to reports, the Indian embassy is now conducting an internal investigation into the incident.
It should be noted that in 2005, two security guards were killed and one was injured in an ‘accidental firing’ in the premises of the Indian embassy.
