Amid Durga Puja celebrations E-rickshaw driver killed his fellow

Guwahati: Amid Durga Puja celebrations in the state, a man was stabbed to death by an e-rickshaw driver in Assam’s Hengrabari area of ​​Guwahati.

A police official said that the incident took place on Monday night and the body of the deceased was found on Tuesday morning.
Police say that both the deceased and the accused were e-rickshaw drivers.

The deceased has been identified as Khagen Kalita, a source said.
They had a boozy party last night and allegedly had an argument.
However, the fight turned deadly as one grabbed a knife and stabbed the other.
The victim and the accused are being identified by the police.

The accused is now said to be absconding and police have started investigation.
