A series of Bomb blasts jolt part of Tamulpur, Livestock killed

Imphal: At least two high-degree bomb blasts were reported near Moreh town along the India-Myanmar border.

According to reports, the twin blasts took place inside Myanmar territory, just 150 meters from the international border in Manipur that India shares with Myanmar.
Notably, Indian security agencies in Manipur are on high alert following the bomb blasts, which were allegedly carried out by a joint team of the People’s Defense Force (PDF) and the Kuki National Army (KNA-B) at a military base in Manipur. Militants were reportedly killed and 7 others, including a self-styled colonel and a self-styled lieutenant colonel, were killed in the attack on the headquarters of an underground group based in Manipur.
The PDF is the armed wing of the National Unity Government of Myanmar (NUG) and was formed by the NUG on 5 May 2021 in collaboration with youth and pro-democracy activists in response to the 1 February 2021 coup. Brought to power the military junta and its armed wing, the Tatmadaw.
