Aizawl Zo-kuki group burns poster of CM,PM seeks isolate charge

Aizawl: An Aizawl-based group, comprising members of the Chin, Kuki, Mizo and Zomi tribes, staged a protest in Aizawl on July 12 against the ongoing communal violence in Manipur.

The protest was organized by ZORO (Zo Reunification Organisation). Protesters also burnt posters of Manipur CMN Biren Singh and PM Modi.

The purpose of the protest is to condemn the ongoing communal violence in Manipur and the central government’s lack of action.
According to reports, the protest in front of the Vinpa Hall has sought to attract the attention of the central government and carried placards demanding separate administration.
